Field Trips

The third grade will be going on a field trip on October 17th. We will be traveling to the Grafton Nature Museum in Grafton, Vermont. This field trip will
include a presentation about owls from the naturalist at the nature center. The fee for the trip covers the cost of admission and the presentation. We will be leaving school at 9:15 and returning at approximately 2:00. The day will begin with an owl presentation and be followed with a tour of the nature
museum and a scavenger hunt. After that we will go on a hike on their nature trails.

Your child will need to dress comfortably and for the weather. Please be sure your child wears comfortable, walking shoes and socks. We will be going on this trip rain or shine so dress accordingly. Your child will need to bring a snack, a bag lunch, and a water bottle from home. If you would like a lunch from the school check the appropriate box on the permission slip. The cost of the trip will be $6.00 per person including adult chaperones. This covers the cost of the nature museum entrance fee and the presentation. Please send the money in with the permission slip.

If you are interested in chaperoning please sign up on the permission slip. Remember all adults who chaperone trips or volunteer in the school must have attended the ACT I training.
